Conscious Exclusive is a recurring collection of exquisite premium pieces that celebrate the new season and highlight the growing possibilities of sustainable fashion with a focus on development and innovation. This season, with recycled polyester from ECONYL® (recycled polyester from fish net), organic cotton, organic linen, organic silk, TENCEL ™ lyocell, recycled plastic, recycled glass and recycled silver, H&M presents Piñatex®, BLOOM ™ foam and Orange® fiber for the first time.
Details : H&M, at the initiative of prestigious and innovative Global Change Awards, now integrates new bio-sourced materials into its latest Conscious Exclusive range.
After its H&M Conscious collection, released in 2015, H&M will offer the conscious Exclusive, the high-end line of the Conscious collection.
You will find several specific materials such as the Piñatex, natural alternative to leather, but also the Oranger Fiber, a durable Silk effect fabric, and the BLOOM Foam.
On April 11, 2019, you will be able to discover in stores around the world, this collection that will include animal print cowboy boots made from Piñatex, the pineapple leaf waste fabric created by carmen Hijosa of the Brazilian brand Ananas-Anam. You will also find a jacket based on Piñatex will also be integrated in the range, as well as dresses based on orange skins from Orange Fiber, previously used by Salvatore Ferragamo, among others, which in 2015 received a 150,000 euro grant and a year of accelerated innovation provided by the H&M Foundation in collaboration with Accenture and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
